Please be advised, If your pregnant when coming in to the surgery. Please make sure to ask the receptionist to book yourself into the Antenatal Appointment slot not a normal GP Appointment slot.

Child Health Clinics 

 Tuesday 09:30 – 11:30 (drop in health visitor clinic) 

Thursday 09:00 – 11:00am (appointments only) 15:00 – 17:00 (health visitor appointments only)

Blood Test Clinic 

Weekdays 09:00 – 13:00 by appointment.

Coil and Implant Clinics

By appointment weekly

Advice Worker

Wednesday 14:00 – 17:00 by appointment

She can explain how you can get the help you need and give you information about local community schemes and practice services.

Have you had your Flu Vaccination this current year?

The seasonal influenza is an unstable but recurring pressure that the NHS faces every year.

Having the vaccination offers you the best protection. If your daily life or your job involves being in contact with people who are in at risk groups, then having the vaccination will not only protect you, but also those around you.

It is wroth noting the Vaccine does not give you the flu and do not assume that you are still protected just because you had the flu vaccine last year.

It is also recommended for any patients with the following conditions that put you at high risk

• Chronic (long-term) respiratory disease, such as severe asthma, COPD and bronchitis
• Chronic liver disease
• Chronic neurological disease, such as Parkinsons disease or motor neuron disease
• Chronic heart disease such as heart failure
• Chronic kidney disease,such as heart failure
• Chronic kidney disease,diabetes
• A weakened immune system due to disease (such as HIV,AIDS) or treatment such as cancer treatment (chemotherapy)

Non-NHS Services

Some services provided are not covered under our contract with the NHS and therefore attract charges. Examples include the following:

• Medicals for pre-employment, sports and driving requirements (HGV, PSV etc.)
• Insurance claim forms
• Prescriptions for taking medication abroad
• Vaccination certificates

The fees charged are based on the British Medical Association (BMA) suggested scales and our reception staff will be happy to advise you about them along with appointment availability.
