However you choose to contact us we may offer you a consultation:
Appointments by phone, video call or by text or email can be more flexible and often means the doctor or nurse can help you sooner.
If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
You can also complete our appointment cancellation notification request form. This can only be used if your appointment has been arranged for more than 24 hours in advance (excluding weekends and public holidays). You can also text to cancel your appointment.
If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online or call 111.

Please tell us:
If you are housebound and need an appointment, we will do a home visit. We will phone you first to understand what you need.
To request a home visit, it’s helpful if you phone before 10:30. After this only emergencies can be considered
We have a texting service which allows you to receive confirmation and reminders about your appointments.
To have this service you will need to register by completing a consent form.
Please remember to update your contact details with us when you change address, telephone numbers and email address.
We teach and train medical students and doctors. You may sometimes be asked if you mind having a medical student or other health worker or doctor sitting in. Please tell the receptionist if you prefer to see the doctor or nurse alone.
The doctors and nurses sometimes video their consultations as part of their learning. You may be asked if your consultation can be videoed and asked to sign a consent form if you agree. Please tell the receptionist if you do not want your consultation to be recorded. Saying no does not cause offence.
